Our History

Biomedical Systems N.V. was established in 1998, initially focusing on the maintenance of medical devices. Over the years, our scope expanded significantly. In 2008, we transitioned to a comprehensive service model, encompassing sales, installation, and maintenance of medical equipment, while also achieving ISO certification for our quality management system.

Collaborating with esteemed partners locally and abroad we have effectively undertaken and completed numerous projects involving the installation of medical devices in hospitals, both domestically and within the region, including locations like Suriname, Guyana, St. Vincent, and St. Lucia. For over two decades, Biomedical Systems N.V. (BMS) has consistently broadened its footprint in the healthcare market, emerging as a prominent supplier of medical devices and services within Suriname. Since 2001, we have established Service Level Agreements with the leading hospitals in Suriname, including the Academic Hospital Paramaribo, ‘s Lands Hospital, St. Vincentius Hospital, and Diakonessen Hospital.
